Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, and Union.

Are you an accredited school?

The Deron School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA-CESS).

How can I apply for a spot for my student?

It is critical that your student/child has approval from your home district to seek out-of-district placement. No placements can be made without this collaboration. 

What is the difference between your Union and Montclair campuses?

Deron’s Union Campus serves students ages 3-14, while the Montclair Campus serves students ages 14-21. 

Do you offer a summer program?

The Deron School offers a 30-day Extended School Year program.  

Do you offer a preschool program?

The Deron School has a unique preschool designed to create a solid foundation for our youngest learners.

What is the enrollment process?

Students attend The Deron School when their local public school determines that an out of district placement is appropriate. The sending district provides the students’ records, which are reviewed by The Deron School.  If appropriate, a tour/ intake is scheduled and the team determines student placement.
